IAO members have long indicated that advocacy is the #1 benefit of membership. Opportunities for involvement with legislators was a top priority of those members responding to the IAO membership survey. In order to promote that activity, the IAO is holding it's second Advocacy Day at the Indiana State House.

This is a great opportunity to talk with legislators about issues of concern to Indiana Ophthalmologists regarding your practice, your profession, and most importantly your patients. This is very informal - a meet and greet opportunity. We will be in a prime location on the 2nd floor of the State House and need to fill the area to show legislators the strength of ophthalmology in Indiana.
Please register now. We will be setting up appointments for members with their representatives of the General Assembly. You should be sure to contact your local legislators and invite them to attend to visit with you and your colleagues.
